Sugar Plum Quartz are a find from the region of Goias, Brazil. I have not seen them before, or since, acquiring the entire lot, and am honored that I was chosen to offer them to the public. I have named them “Sugar Plum” due to their purple-magenta hues.
What causes their Coloring?
The Plum hues are a lustrous combination of Hematite and Iron Oxide, with an additional coating of clear Quartz over-giving that glassy effect. The clarity within each point is just unreal!
